HeHe, On request of the AFP I have been asked not to say any more on the the LaLa and Legend City mess. Why you ask, simple, they don't want her or any of her flunkies getting any info other than what I have stated in this blog already. In other words " don't give them a heads up so they can run".

On another note, well kind of, The forum for legend city online has been changed, yes LaLa has blocked public viewing, hmmm, if you have nothing to hide why block it? Not that blocking it like that can stop me, never thought dear lady that I may have another account other than the ones you know about!!!

On a kinder note, to those of you that have followed me out of LCO, Thank you for your support and all the extra info you so kindly gave. To those that still have faith in LCO and the people behind it, Good luck with what you are doing and have no hard feelings on those that have left, They had good reason to do so.

This is the last post on LEGEND CITY ONLINE as a grid, but it will not be the last as far as its owner is concerned, when I am allowed to post more about her and her business practices, I will.

Oh dear people, blocking me can't stop me from looking at the LCO forum from behind a proxy. Or even stop me coming into LCO under a proxy as a new avi or more.

People I am just a guilty as LaLa is for hiding info she herself had disclosed to me (in good faith).

And has she told you yet about killing the development company she was bragging about getting in and hiring a resident to do the coding? I bet she hasn't. And she wanted the so called counsel/council to bring in 9 or more big names from SL to cover costs and to push the selling of MiGs to them. Because you the residents can't, no sorry, wont bring people in. She had very little as far as nice things to say about you the residents, frankly she is sick of you all.

BabyBarb H, Funny how you only state things that were said to LaLa in a private Skype chat, please post the convo you claim to have witnessed in the forum, other wise you are either LaLa disclosing stuff or LaLa has shared a private convo with you as she has done with me about other accounts on many many occasions.

I see another person has started a little drama in LcO and surprisingly enough its our EX MAYOR! She just got into office and instead of making choices for the people of Legend City she made a terrible choice following someone who has billing issues and has since left the grid!.... Hmmm Billing issues you claim, how the hell would you know about residents billing issues if again you were given private info on residents? He did not leave due to billing issues, he left for private reasons as he told them.

I guess she didnt notice or care who was witnessing her acts in the Welcome SIM yesterday but I took it upon myself to speak to a few of the Legend staff about the situation unfolding! I was pretty hot about her comments. She even has posted some bad comments elsewhere...... I don't it seems to have the right even as the Mayor of there to have a say, but it's fine for you to make comments on things you where not involved with, nor had the full story on.

Seems some people dont know how to read the terms of service and are now pissy about cancelling their sim. Legend Staff did not tell me about a certain sim owner cancelling their account - Leigh Gears told the entire welcome area that her friend canceled his account, cleard it out and abandoned it, and then they got pissy because the company deleted it....... Oh we know and have read the TOS. Again, this is showing to be LaLa making up bull shit to cover her ass for actions she knew were wrong. She knew Paulie had a build in the sky and was working there when she deleted it in temper, as you can see I was in a convo with LaLa as she deleted them both, both being Paulies sim and build and Orientation that both Paulie and I ( mostly Paulie) donated time to build for LCO and it's new residents to come.

From what I understand several of the staff (they verbally said this to me) went and checked this canceled sim (as they would with any abandoned land), saw that it was cleared out, and then chose to delete it and refund the owner his unused time in paypal.... Hmmm, again, staff discussing another residents account with a resident and verbly, wtf, when did voice go on in LCO? and if it was not verbally in LCO, why were the staff discussing it out side of LCO in voice with another. More lies.

What is wrong about this? I mean fuck! This company is damned if they do and damned if they dont! First they have some idiot woman (simone) claiming because she didnt pay they needed to delete her sim or else they are content theives - that was a cry for psychiatric help LOL! Anyone knows LL wouldnt do such a stupid thing everytime someone didnt pay! Well the simone thing has nothing to do with the shit I have found LaLa good at putting out, but purhaps people should have a closer look at the way Simone was treated and find the truth with that too.

Then, Legend Business changes its process and put it out there that if you dont pay here are the terms, as well as if you CANCEL here are THOSE terms! It is in black and white, if you cancel your land and it appears to be abanonded why the hell would someone just leave it up there?! Thats a waste of resources on their systems if you ask me and I think Leigh Gears leaving LCO (over someone "elses" account) was the stupidest thing I think she could have done.... The TOS is not as black and white as you may think, It's so loosely worded in places that it will not cover your asses.

I know for a fact that I have canceled a sim and was refunded any unused portion of time as I am sure they have been too! I am glad people like that are gone to be honest. If they pull this kind of stuff now, jeez what will they do later? Not pay and expect land to just sit there until they do? Try that with LL Leigh LOL or better yet go back to SL and pay 1k to find out if you can get away with that there! Ummm, this wasn't a case of not pay for land, nor was it about Paulie wanting the land to sit there not paid for either. Please look closely at what went on, he had a build there, was working on it when LaLa hit delete, he did tell them why he wanted it canceled but they wanted more info, no need for more info on why. The fact the he was still in game, on the sim in the sky building cos he has 13 days left. No one went and looked to see what was there as LaLa herself killed that sim and his build. And as far as me going back to SL hun, I never left it, just was in LCO more than SL and more often in both grids helping newbies for the LCO grid, cos there was no commitment from you or most of the other residents with newbies. How many times have staff asked for Mentors and Greeters. What you say is wrong, I didn't see you giving your time to be of service, but I have seen and only now how much effort you are putting in defending something you have no idea about.

For the slow people in the back that dont read - their terms of service says this about canceling your sim so its up to you to read it:

"We, Legend City Online, reserve the right to delete a sim/region that has been canceled by the account holder. At which time the account holder is due a pro-rated refund for time unused. The account holder is responsible for removing any objects prior to cancellation if the intention is not to occupy that space after cancellation. It is the account holder's responsibility to alert Legend City that they plan to maintain occupancy if they cancel their sim account for the remaining time."

Sorry for the rant! I had to say this before people started doing the monkey see monkey do thing and making up their minds before they even hear the facts! I guess like Ferr said earlier (in world resident and owner of Chalet Ferre), everyone has a choice to make "Take the red pill or the blue one.."

The last thing I would do is run for Fecking MAYOR! Especially if I was feeling like that! Seems like she is doing this as some stupid attempt of redemption for Paulie's "fuck up" as you said earlier. People and their stupid vengenance!.... I didn't run for Mayor either, nor did the others set them selves up for the positions they were put in, they got put there having no idea what was behind the LCO councel/council. But when asked by LaLa I said yes I would do it and made that public, I went for Mayor to give you people the impression you had a voice, you were not going to get a voice if you had a Mayor, she didn't want you too. LaLa wanted someone in world to take the complaints away from her, so she wouldn't have to deal with you the residents, cos she had had enough of you all whining about how the grid was going backwards, how you couldn't sell products, how you couldn't find friends when they were on, how you constantly nagged her as she put it. I was a front, set up by her, to keep you fools happy, nothing more. And do please note, the other people in the counsel and I KNOW I AM REPEATING THIS, had no idea of LaLa's deceit or why she want the LCO counsel set up, I did and have made that very public.
It's not Vengeance, it's me taking a stand on what I have see, been told and sadly been dragged into supporting by LaLa herself. People need to know what goes on behind the the pixels, LaLa will never tell you the truth, cos she knows just how illegal she is in the the way she has built that Grid. All I ask people is do your research and make up your own minds.

I can certainly see why we dont have a voice in Second Life any more. I have heard people say when they come to an Alpha grid how they appreciate sl more because alpha is so new. But I can appreciate sl for a different reason. I really thought the whole corporate thing was bad but seeing how some of these community people act in LCO, I wouldnt blame the company if they did the same thing! Who needs the hassle of giving uneducated pot heads a voice? Legend City people take my advice go corporate and do what you have to do to make it work! Pot head, shit have you heard LaLa in voice after a few wines. I was a Pot head but so was LaLa, in a convo recently with the dear lady, she stated how upset she was with you, the community because you the community were not selling her fucking grid, I said to her relax hun, go roll a joint, she laughed and said she gave up smoking pot 3-4 years ago but thinks she might take it up again soon. But instead has taken to drinking.

This is an extreme catch 22 where all the good they keep trying to do gets marred by the assholes that dont want to pay cheap tier or CANT PAY for whatever reason and then get pissy with the company for deleting their sim. Shame on you Paulie for blaming LCO on your financial shortcomings and shame on you Leigh for taking up for such a dork who cant pay his bills and needs a scapegoat! Anyone that follows you is an idiot for losing their grandfathered tier. Good riddance. OK this again isn't what happened. As I stated up above.

That info was put for people to do a search with, I must say opps in that as I didn't say go look for the info with reverse search on the number, nothing shows, do a whois on theflexcompany and you will find it has non other than it hides behind another site, do a reverse on the email and you get the same for the company it's attached too and finally, do a whois on the legend city web site and you get the same, all hidden. That does not install trust. The last not on the websites for the moment. Just how secure is the exchange site? It's not a https site, go look up what protection a https Vs a http site has.

Answer is simple, I found oddly enough upon asking several of the Legends that LaLa originally started Legend City under the business she started in SL called Reflex Company! Big Feckin' Deal! This is some cause for alarm? My bank statement hasnt shown That name since last November (yes i checked). So apparently she made LEGEND CITY its own company! Also, that number is accurate! I just called and got someone for support. I heard you were a weed-head but wow! Maybe say no to drugs lol you have your facts Twisted along with that crap you call art! hmmm hun So now you will resort to making a person like or dislike of my art to get your unfounded points across, My art has nothing to do with the crap LaLa and others that have filled your little closed mind with, ART IS ART, JUST BECAUSE YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND IT OR LIKE IT, DOESN'T MAKE IT CRAP. It's still art in the eyes of the maker and in the eyes of those that do like it and buy it, You shouldn't pass judgment on something that you have no fucking idea on. Well go look for the info on all the websites that are linked to LCO, if can find anything post it, make sure we all have the so called public whois info.

Bottom line here is that the people of LCO or wherever should not be fooled by another want-to-be that is seeking popularity from a rant. They let anyone have a blog nowadays dont they ? Well hun I never hit for being popular with a community or anywhere else, I am secure with my self and am happy about who I am, the blog was never set up make me popular LOL, It's there to let people know what's out there, to show people that all is not as sweet as they have been told it is . So do yourself a favor, find something that is contructive, do it and try to enjoy it, cos you my dear have numbered fucking days for taking an issue that's not based on a person thing like my art or the fact that I was a pot smoker and turning it into amo (well you thought) to try and justify your non commitment to the LCO grid, other than your recent LCO blog rant. I will see LCO management shown up for the thieves they are, for the damage they tried to cause to a Federal Judge and to many many others that have placed their trust in the person/people behind that LCO grid.

Still to come, LaLa showing me the banned avi list , from her mac address issue within the LCO server, the lack of security on the exchange site, that site is not https, so it's not secure. And a ton more dirt just to HELP you make up your own minds about doing business with LCO :) Please people do not follow blindly, do the research needed.

My second Life won't happen on LCO either

What is LCO? Legend City Online, stay away from it, I mean it.

I am/was the elected Virtual Mayor of Legend City Online, Leigh Gears. Today I left LCO because of the numerous reports I was getting from people that have purchased land there and that were banned after paying hundreds of USD to "LaLa Legend" Or "LaLa Xevious" Or lets try the fake real life name she is telling us she is "SaRobbie Joyce". ( mind you, these people where in LCO playing and she had no problems with their mac addresses as she told me was the issue till they paid for MiGs or Mini Grids). On a search of the net for SaRobbie Joyce I found no records attached to it other than the recent Inc or business registration of LCO in January of this year. All IP's connected to the LCO business have blocked whois records including the "thereflexcompay.com" one that shows as her billing site for LCO in PayPal.

Today I told her that deleting a sim after a PayPal billing subscription was canceled 13 days before that billing cycle was due to end was wrong. I told her I would be leaving as that was the last straw because the bad press that LCO was getting was in fact impacting on me as a business person in RL and in Virtual Worlds as an artist. I was also the LCO sales Rep in SL. In SL I have been removed from contacts and groups just because I worked for her. As a result of being open with her, I can no longer login to LCO on my Leigh Gears account nor could I get into the LCO exchange to see what was happening with a sell order I had placed for 4002D's or 20USD worth of Legend dollars. When I asked her to to make sure my funds are sent to me she just out right said "go to hell " Now there is $19.40usd and the 4002D's in a sell order on the LCO exchange, the sell order states pending USD's of $20.01 and $19.41 after fee's are taken out. The pending funds I can see a loop hole in as the site states it's a RL currency that is pending to be paid to me. So in my eyes and I hope in the eyes of the Law will show it as theft. What I might have lost is nothing compared to what others have pumped into that grid, some have lost hundreds and others up to and over the $1000.00usd mark.

Ok, I have my account back after 31 hours of being off line, with no notification from them as to why or to even say they had done it. (Shame on you Linden Lab) What do the words "basic customer care" mean to you lot? Absolutely fucking nothing!!!!! I was in SL (with my alt avi) with friends when the time came to phone and I asked my friends to hang one while I put the phone on loud speaker :) so they could hear what was going to be said, then dialed. Now bare in mind people, I live in Australia, the number I had to ring is in the USA, so I was not happy about having to do an overseas call to sort out this. The phone rang and a recorded message said, " Please hold and we will get to you shortly, thank you for you patience." 10 minutes on hold listening to the same 5 second tune and the same message over and over and over and over again was only fueling my temper. One of my friends started doing a very depressing jig in SL as it was driving him nuts too :) Finally a human answered and I gave him my account name and the answer to my security question and told him I had 2 people in SL listening to this call because, I do believe LL Fraud would be recording the call anyway and if they didn't, then they are more incompetent than I first believe them to be. After small pause cos I thought he was reading the report he had about my shutdown, he asked, "Have you purchased Lindens (SL money) from a 3rd party website?" I was going to go pop! Me!, use a 3rd party site, never! Then it dawned on me, they hadn't even looked at my transaction records to see where all my lindens come from and this guy was going down the track of counterfeit lindens, oh yes, in Second Life just like in real life, someone has worked out how to produce and bring in fake money ( Great security...... Not!) and I was a victim of that. But that didn't stop this employee having the tone of a cop and I was the one they were looking for in his eyes. My friends at this time I think were shocked cos this little black duck wasn't going to take this one second longer. I asked if he looked at my records, his answer to that was, "Our system shows you got these lindens directly from the avi we had blocked and was watching for passing these fake lindens around SL. (If LL blocks you, the block doesn't work till you log out and try to log in again. ( Hmmm, more incompetence)) I had to tell this fool that I have not received any direct payments as gifts from anyone that day but did have an art sale for 2000L$, he went silent, I think thats when he decided he had better look at my transaction records and guess what, he did finally. He then said he would fire up my account again cos he was satisfied that I didn't have anything to do with what they were having trouble with. BUT! I couldn't leave it at that and why should I, I was 31 hours off line and no e-mail to say there was an issue with my account (Which there wasn't really if they had bothered to look at it closer, well at all!) he said, "The system flagged your account and it is standard procedure to shut down an account with that kind of flag". I asked, " Did the system shut me down or did a human shut me down?" He just answered, " It's standard procedure" (As if they would admit to screwing up) "Ok" I said, "Someone pushed the "Shutdown Button" but didn't push the "Send e-mail Button" and don't you think it's very rude to just shutdown a legit person without letting them know what was going on?" " It's Procedure", he said. I then while biting my tongue asked, " Can I have a number to call about, 1 putting in a formal complaint and getting an apology and 2 compensation for the time my SL business had no one in there for customers to contact regarding contracts and commissions I had to work on?" "What! You want compensation for this?" "YES I DO!!" I said and the shit hit the fan. "I was taken off line, no notification as to that or as to why, I have almost completed work that I will be paid for if they still want it and for the rudeness coming from support and you about this fucking matter, I run a legit business in SL that links to my RL business, had done nothing wrong, yet got treated like a criminal, so YES!, I want fucking compensation for the incompetence Linden Lab has shown me in the last 31 and a half hours" "Go to the Second Life web site.......". I cut him off and stated "... and deal with more of the incompetence this company has to deal out, I don't fucking think so! Has my account been turned back on?" "Yes" " Good, Thank you, have a bad day cos I sure to hell am" and hung up on him. Yep I know he could have hit the "Shut down Button" again and I am sure he thought about it, but there again I think he was just grateful I went. I waited about 20 minutes to test the account, it worked :) I was back in but I wasn't going to stop, deadly serious about showing Linden Lab up for this and to give a voice to all the others that have had to deal with them at this level, I sold the land I had to My alt, canceled my premium account and gone to a basic account and have started a protest group to have Linden Lab change the way they dish out their Customer Care, well lack of. Now here is a sad issue that has popped up, since I put out the group invites I have had messages from people saying, "Great that you are doing this", "Cool" and "About time some one did something", "We ( 5 so far said this ) would love to join, but we don't want any trouble from Linden lab, we want to keep our accounts, but we think what you are doing is brave and good, but sorry and don't be angry with us!." And this people is why the makers of Second Life treat you like shit, they have you running scared, grow up and take control, remember this, yes they created the platform we are playing on, but we are the foundation that game is built on, we build that virtual world, some of us pay lots of real life money to make a world for you to be able to use and escape from real life in and lastly, if we don't stand up and say, "Hey! we are the one's that keep this game going so you Linden Lab can rake in the dollars, so show us a lot more respect!" And if you don't, then the only thing you will have to log into is a dead world with no control and what will fuel it on all levels......... the incompetence we are seeing now but on a larger scale. Hmmm, shades of real life there I feel.

I am so pissed off with Linden Lab, the makers of Second Life, I could blow a gasket. I logged out of the game at 6pm Sunday to eat my evening meal, when I went to login at 6.20pm I couldn't, password error was what I got (Are you having a little trouble with your password or security question? We can get this straightened out by talking to you. Please call us: (866) 476-9763.) I phoned it, guess what, I was given a new number to call because they couldn't help me 703-342-0602, but was told to submit a ticket first as this number was only available 9am to 6pm Mondays to Fridays . So I went to the website to talk to live support chat for premium account holders and they said they couldn't help and I had to phone 703-342-0602 and to log a support ticket. Grrrrr!!!!!! Well if the number won't be answered till Monday, then a ticket won't get seen to till........ well who knows when. The rest of what live support said was, " The account has been close pending an investigation" WTF! I haven't done anything and who pushed the Shutdown Account button at 1:30am on a Sunday in the USA. What would warrant such a move at that time of the morning? So curiosity got me and I phoned that number I was told would have no answer and the recorded message said, "Welcome to Linden Lab Fraud Line, this office is blah blah blah blah!!!!!" "Ok!!!", says me with a bigger WTF!!!!!, now I have done nothing wrong and if the Leigh Gears account was shut down by LL pending a fraud investigation, why wasn't my alt Dien Ember shut down too? They both have the same bank accounts and owner details, I wonder who I have pissed off bad enough to bullshit to LL or has my account been got at! I have no idea nor will have till I can talk to somebody, my grievance here is, I have yet to receive any e-mail from LL saying they have shut me down or a reason why. All I know is I can't finish the build I was doing, I can't re-texture a friends house which was a paying job in SL, nor transfer funds to Dien's account to pay the land fees LL want me to pay on Tuesday for all the group land I have bought. LL you have done this person wrong by blocking my account and if you think it will remain open as a premium account, to keep paying for crap like this once you give it back, I don't fucking think so!!!

I have been taking shots to upload in to here, but now I have the hassle of which ones to show you in todays little blurb. Lets go with the C.I.A business in SL, yes there is a business in SL called The Central Intelligence Agency. ( click images to make them bigger) Now I wonder what in hell the C.I.A would sell in a game? Well let us go look and see, Chat surveillance, hmmm, spy on those around you and not tell them you are reading their PRIVATE messages, I thought that was not something the T.O.S allowed, must go read that again :) Grid wide spying!!!! oh wow, is the C.I.A. above T.O.S? I guess they are.
I can't imagine anything being done by The C.I.A. to be wrong in anyway, can you? Lets see what else they have :) Oh no! Avatar Sabotage Gadgets, Lets go to the C.I.A. and buy something that will damage another Avatar, the C.I.A. sell it, so it must be Ok. And people wonder where the nasties get their weapons from. These things are not made for your standard or even average SL player, these are made to make trouble, I must say this, WHY THE FUCK ALLOW THIS SHIT WHEN IT CAUSES SO MANY DRAMAS IN SECOND LIFE, Don't we have enough dramas in real life with people hurting people in one or another country every second of the day, why bring it into a game? I don't understand! OK what other drama maker do they sell? It seems it not enough to go out and disrupt an Avatar, lets go and sabotage someones build. Boy that gets me bad, Imagine that someone has spent weeks building up their land, landscaping, putting shops or houses on to rent or a club maybe and then along comes Mr Griefer to sabotage all that hard work thats been done. It happens and there's usually no reason behind it other than, "It's there and I have the weapons, so why not!" mentality of some that play the game. Don't let this this little sad side of SL put you off game play, there are tons of nice people and places to go, some even fun, lol. I think this next pic is the funniest, sadest and one of the truest statements I have seen as far as being armed in SL is concerned :)

ain't she pretty, shame about the gun. Not all carry weapons in SL, I don't any more and I was a Gun for Hire :-P and I hired a Gun in there to take care of a trouble maker, That assassin cost me L$1000.00, he had so many ID's in SL because he was banned so many times for being a Hired Gun :) and this is my point I guess, why sell this shit if it will only get the ones using it banned if they take the FUN as they call it, too far? But as I said, I no longer carry a gun, but because of the amount of weapons in SL I do have protection and other means of defending and fighting back if I must. Oh last little point if I may call it that, there are many kinds of weapons, one that really gets my goat is NUKES, yes bombs for the buying. These things are remote controlled most of the time from another part of the grid and if your nuker has a sence of humour that bomb will have a spy device built in so he/she can read the panic texts the almost dead Avatars are sending. Have I used one of these nasties, I cannot tell a fib, yes! Why? Mafia pissed me off and that's all I will say on it.

Well my next blurb will be on the wildlife in SL, hmmmm , isn't that what I just did, lol.
SL has the most amazing zoo's and other wildlife places, with no weapons allowed! But yes there are safari's :( but I will not cover hunting as I don't do it nor agree with killing for sport and trophies.And to close this one, Gallus Art has come into Die'n Arts Gallery now, Iona Kyle has put her work up and I have to say, her clothes down, sorry Carol hun but this was too good to let pass. You may ask your father to shoot me in SL for this pic :) Thank the heavens it's classed as a Mature sim :) and it wasn't a stranger coming in to look at the art, because they might have thought there was more for sale than just fantastic Images. To explain what had happened, Iona is new to the game and was changing her clothes, when she went to put her old ones back on, most of the others disappeared, hence she was left, totally by accident I must add, topless in the middle of a public place :) Most, if not all newbies end up like this in their first few weeks of getting use to how to do things in SL, like putting your clothes on :)

Ok this was odd, I don't own an ipod, hate the little things, they can't hold all my music and I can't make a choice as to what to drop into it, lol. I fired up my player on the pc and dropped my entire music folder into, took over 5 mins for it load them all, that just a little more than 25Gigs of tunes lol.

I have a huge selection of music in here running from classical to death metal. Rap Crap, Country (music to slash ur wrists by) and House/dance are not allowed near this pc or in the house :)

Sitting here now writing this and blasting my ear drums out, listening to every word of my Soundtrack, finding some oddly disturbing, as to how they seem to be fairly close to the bone, but then they would, this music is me, its what I like, its even I guess, shaped part of what or who I am and has helped me produce some of my best art works :) Then the rest is a giggle, so funny cos they are so out of whack in the category they have landed in. But that's life for me, a random selection of things dropping into my lap to play with.

It's alive !!!!!
I got the motherboard and dropped it in, I did do something that most geeks wouldn't dream of doing and if they did dream of doing it, wouldn't try. Kids! Don't try this and if you do, be 100% sure it's compatible(I was 95% sure), like it's the same motherboard, not different like my 2 were.
Alan my all patient real life other pulled the half dead MB out and on my instructions only connected my small hard drive, leaving the bigger drives off, reason?, I wanted to see if I could start her up on the existing operating system, not the 64bit OS, just the standard 32bit OS. I really didn't want to do a complete rebuild. Well shock horror, she didn't go pop or put up a fight, don't get me wrong, she kinda screamed as she was trying to find all the hardware configs and drivers and I did have to push her through loading all the stuff needed to run and the last stuff to load was the mouse and keyboard drivers, though the keyboard was working on defaults so I could load in the other junk. The only thing I had install was all the motherboard stuff and the sound card drivers. Then the final stage, I flashed the Bios and off she went like a trooper. I love the way she just purrs along lol.

I went online to Secondlife to test her and what a test it turned out to be. Second Life has done over the last few weeks some major upgrades, some have been great, but this last one? Hmmmmmm, I have 3 friends that might be leaving the game, one being my SL brother. The upgrades to the viewer and to the dynamics in the game are not designed for low end pc's, not even for medium speed pc's really. 50% of the players are cursing the makers of the game and the other 50% like me are praising the game makers. Lots of people are going to have to do major upgrades if not buy new Pc's just to run it now. (Note to SL makers, Upgrade the minimum requirements section of your web site, people will read that and say "goody, I can Play" but in all reality they can't on the guide lines you stipulate, your game is for high end gamer machines only now!)
The sad thing about Linden Lab up grading the game like they have, is that schools, small business's and every day people won't be able to come in as they were, I can't see many schools having high end pc's, nor business's. So they will be leaving or spending lots of money upgrading and the people using SL as a platform to help with their education are left out, sad!!! To give you a better idea of the upgrading LL has done, within 24 hours of all the changes, they killed their own ISP's servers with the amount of new data that has to flow through it for descent game play. Well done LL :)

Ok, this was just to let those reading this know that I am up and running, I will add more pics in a day or two. And I will be letting you know what new tweaks the makers of the game are going to add (if they are insane enough too after what they have done)

Oh!!!!! my 64 bit PC goes POP!!!!

Ok this is a bad start, I have managed to kill my large 64bit pc :( oh the drama of it for me!!!!! It's the pc I do my art on and go into SL on, this lovely little laptop has a compatiblity problem with SL, yes not all pc's or I should say hardware can run the game. I loose graphics when I use this, get a nice rainbow effect all over the screen, then bang no mouse or keyboard control and I have to turn her off to get out of a frozen game. Warning people, make sure you look at system requirements on Secondlife.com before downloading and installing the game, there are quite a few modem chipsets that will NOT run the game with out killing a pc, modern does not mean it will work with this game.
Ok have to run now, taking the beast I killed to a shop to have it tested and to find out what died, hoping its not magor but with high end pc's that's a silly dream lol.

Let me first show you a shot from the sky of what I own and share ownership so far in SL. The aqua area is my land (Die'n Arts Land), the blue and aqua (Mark'n Dien Land) is land I have 50% share in with another person, the red is land owned by others and the orange is land for sale. This is small compared to some virtual land owners but there is always room to grow, though it may not be in just buying land that is next to you, sometimes you can wait months or years before someones sells that spot you want. On the Mark'n Dien Land we have house rentals, house rentals in SL are priced really on prim count, prim is basically how many items can be put in one place, some landlords charge for view and others like in real life just for greed. Our house are L$500.00 a week, so thats about $2.00 USD week for someone to rent a virtual house on a virtual slice of land. There are 4 houses on our land so that adds up to L$2000.00 a week in rentals that comes in and 50% is mine, small amount yes but it adds up :)
The next 2 pics are from inside my house, I like using textures that are natural like the bricks and the plants. If you click on the image you can see fish in the water feature, these fish just don't sit there looking kind of good, they have scripts in them so they move around the water even diving deeper. When I first put the darn things in I didn't read the script setup properly and had fish swimming in brick and out my windows, fun time fishing for 30 minutes or so before I gave in a read the setup. The other pic is of another part of my house, its the lounge room. All the furniture is scripted too for sitting in different positions or lying around, there is a fruit bowl on the coffee table if you make the pic larger to see it, the fruit is scripted to give you a copy and has an eating animation built in, so it looks like you are eating. You don't have to learn scripting or the code that's used in SL to be able to play the game, most items you buy have the script and if you get to building your own things you can but the script to drop in. And for those of you wondering yes I do have a bed room with a scripted bed for those intimate moments, not that I have used it yet.
This next pic is the view from the roof of the gallery :) Sunsets are stunning in SL, I will do a few shots of different day time modes you can set or just let them roll in as in RL (real life). The gallery has this view to one side and hills that are built on on the other sides. As you can see there is water, this water is what called protected water, that means you can't own most of it and others can use it for swimming, sailing, jet ski-ing and even fishing. Yes with the right little items and scripts you can fish and pull out wriggling live looking things too with the odd boot or tyre. This I must say, why the hell would you place garbage in the water in a virtual world I do not know, you would think that a garbage problem would be the last thing you would see in SL, nope it's all there too, the worst of mankind :( I will go into the worst of what Mankind has to offer in SL another time. And now the last of the pics for today, I mentioned sailing, well get your self into one of these and sail the mainland coasts, this baby was built by a resident in SL as far as I know she is menu driven with scripts for smooth sailing but SL has weather, real wind, well programmed wind. So on one side of the mainland it might be protected with little wind but go around a point and you might get hit with a tail wind and your sails will puff up and you take off with a hell of a speed. Had that wonderful feeling in my SL brothers skiff a few months back, I must say I had a ball zipping around the island he lived on in his little boat.

Ok lets start this off with a quick look at my Gallery in SL. As you can see its a brick building based on the Jules Verne style of things, who is Jules Verne? Do a Google search, thats what its there for :)

The gallery has three floors to it, the ground floor being the main entrance, though some call it the basement because they TP (teleport) into the gallery and land on the second floor, that means they have to work their way down to get out, bad design or smart thinking on my side, you will have be the judge on that. As the gallery is built on a hill, the ground floor has an indoor garden in it and this is where I will be hosting Gallus Art in the near future.

I haven't had this gallery up for all that long in SL, in fact this is my third gallery, first was TwistingArt Gallery named after my website, the second was Tuck'nFwisted Arts named after my other site that has wicked adult based humor on it and this my third Die'n Arts, don't know where I got that name from, I think it was because I thought art was dieing in SL at the time :) and in a way still do. Why would I think that? all I see other than in a few other galleries in SL is a great lack of original work, one gallery near me has weird and I must say wonderful art in it, but none of it is the work of the gallery owner, they are images taken from the net and I doubt whether they have permission from the creators of all the art to be showing , let alone selling their work. Copyright is an issue in some cases in SL but for my work and others that bring original work in, have the protection of IP COPYRIGHT, which means Linden lab has a record of our work and it's linked to our IP's and accounts with them. So if I find one of my works in another gallery or someone is showing my work as theirs then I ask Linden Lab to step in and remove that work if the person refuses after I ask them nicely :)
Do I sell my art in SL? Yes I do, some images are sold for as little as L$800.00 that is about $0.95c USD, others sell for L$2500.00 which is about $9.00 USD and I have sold up to L$44,000.00 in one month, you do the math for this :) 1,000 Linden = $4.05 approx in US dollars, this is when I saw the money making potential in SL. If you have a product or service that is different from whats in SL currently you have a good start in making real dollars.

Well here I go, not sure where this will take me but it should be fun.

This blog is about my life in a virtual world called Secondlife, It's like a roll playing game but there are no limits on what you can do, create or become in it. Some have made millions in this virtual world, yes real millions, others are there to meet people like they do in Yahoo, MSN, Paltalk and Skype, but in a 3D environment, schools use it as a platform to teach and business's use it to hold conferences in. Armarni, Sun Corp, Microsoft, Sky News all use it, just to name a few.

I have a virtual art gallery that links to my online gallery, I also own virtual land and have house rentals and yes the commerce in Secondlife is real as I said above. Lindens is the currency used in Secondlife and can be exchanged for real Dollars that can be put into your PayPal account, bank account or Linden Lab the creators of the game will sent you a check.

There are two account types for game play, a free basic account that lets you play the game for free or a premium account that has the added benefit of being able to own virtual land.

This is just a basic outline of what SL has to offer and in the coming days, weeks and months I will show you what this amazing virtual world has.
My second life name is Leigh Gears, if you come into SL look me up in the search engine and say hi and if you are a newbie I can show you some of the most amazing worlds that have been created in there.
